SVPA Events
Come see our SVPA Events on campus. Our spaces are the Watson Theater and Black Box Theater in the Performing Arts Center, Cecelia Coker Bell Art Gallery in the Art Building, and the Recital Hall in the Music Building.
The Dance Program
The Dance Program is committed to exposing students to guest artists from across the country and various dance styles. Students take courses in modern dance, ballet, jazz, dance history, dance science, dance composition, and more! All students have the opportunity to perform and choreograph for our various performances, including the Student Choreography Showcase and Faculty and Guest Artist Dance Concert. Dancers also have the opportunity to audition for the Coker Repertory Dance Company, a pre-professional dance company that performs and tours around the region.
